Here we are about 1/3 of the way through our hike. Peter is still smiling, that's how I know we were far from the end. I don't think any maintenance had been done on the path yet this year. At several spots along the route large trees had fallen across the path and we had to give Winnie a boost over or a shove under. There was also a lot of poison ivy encroaching on the path that Winnie had to plow through. Needless to say, she was given a thorough bathing when we returned home Sunday afternoon.
