(1) Does DeskPicture 10 support multiple monitors?

Yes, DeskPicture 10 handles one or two monitors attached to you Macintosh. Future releases will support more than two monitors.

(2) What picture formats does DeskPicture 10 support?

DeskPicture 10 supports all the standard formats built into Mac OS X. These include PICT, GIF, JPEG, PNG, TIFF, PDF, PhotoShop, BMP, EPS, and more.

(3) Where are those nice desktop pictures Apple ships with Mac OS X?

They are stored in the Desktop Pictures folder inside the system’s Library folder (“/Library/Desktop Pictures/”).

(4) What about the pictures I used to use in Mac OS 9?

Look in your old System Folder. There is a folder in there called Appearance. This contains a folder called Desktop Pictures. This is where the System 9 desktop pictures are stored. They work fine with DeskPicture 10.

(5) How do I uninstall DeskPicture 10?

Moving DeskPicture to the trash should work just fine. Also make sure you disable all automatic changing of pictures (uncheck "Change Pictures"). This will stop the dpHelper app that does the changing. DeskPicture cannot be deleted from the trash when dpHelper is running.
